Mid Atlantic Machinery’s annual Steel Tech is back! We are thrilled to welcome our industry leading builders, customers, friends and families back this February for our annual Steel Tech Show. This year we will be showcasing new technologies never seen before at Steel Tech and expanding our show space with a second location.

Here is what to expect for Steel Tech 2022:

 

Brand New Showroom Machines

CR Onsrud M Series CNC Router

Mid Atlantic will have a brand new CR Onsrud M Series in our showroom. C.R. Onsrud, Inc. specializes in 3-axis to 5-axis CNC Machining Centers, CNC Routers, CNC Mills, Inverted Routers and has become one of the leaders in advanced machining technology. We will have our Routing expert, Chris Boyer, on hand to speak with all attendees interested in learning more about routing and CR Onsrud Machinery.

 

ALLtra Plasma Cutting US-612

We will have a brand new ALLtra Plasma Cutting Machine installed for Steel Tech 2022. ALLtra’s brand new, US-612, cutting and welding systems offers the versatility to cut parts in varying sizes and features coupled with the latest technologies for plasma, oxyfuel, or automated welding applications. Alltra expert, Randy Damas, will be in attendance to discuss the benefits of an Alltra Plasma Cutting System for customers processing plate.

 

Haeger Insertion Machine 

This year, we will have a Haeger Insertion Machine on hand to demo.  Haeger insertion equipment helps both job shops and manufacturers alike reduce error, increase output and improve quality. Thanks to intuitive touchscreen interfaces, easy-to-change tooling, and a wide variety of self-clinching fasteners available, these machines are a must-have if your business creates parts out of sheet metal.

 

Virtual Demonstrations

We will be live streaming from TRUMPF North America Headquarters with machines like the TruLaser Tube 7000 and the TruPunch 5000. The Trumpf punching technology allows for complex, three-dimensional sheet processing with the goal of complete processing on a single machine, and has the fastest in the world. Additionally, the TRUMPF TruLaser Tube’s open machine concept and beam guard provide the perfect combination of optimum safety and the best accessibility for the operator. We will have TRUMPF experts in attendance to provide a virtual walk around each machine and answer any questions.

 

 

Educational Seminars with Machine Tool Experts 

With this many experts in one place, Steel Tech is excited to be hosting educational seminars with industry leaders like TRUMPF, Bend-Tech, CR Onsrud, Prodevco and more! We want to share proficiencies found in other applications to effectively smooth bottlenecks in your business. These are a true value-added resource for your shop.

Covid-19 Precautions

They say “the show must go on,” but with that being said, Covid-19 still poses a threat to our world as we know it. Masks will not be required, but encouraged. There will be hand sanitizers placed throughout our showroom and extra masks will be available at the check in desk.
